HOW TO GET A LOAN with Lundin & Associates, Inc. You won’t find an application or interest rates on our website! Why? We want to have personal contact with our clients! In this age of easy internet access personal contact has become rare. Although our website is extremely secure we prefer not to take chances that any personal information you might enter will be in jeopardy. Call or email one of our professional loan originators to discuss your mortgage needs. An application can be started over the phone or an office appointment can be made! Our quick approval process allows us to get started on your mortgage FAST! Check our contact page for the office nearest you. First Time Home Buyers: A variety of loan programs and products has made home ownership accessible to more people, including the first time home buyer. Our loan originators will explain these programs and will help you decide what is best for you. Obtaining mortgage pre-approval is a good idea before seriously looking for a home. You'll know how much you can afford and when you do find a home an offer can be made immediately! What will my INTEREST RATE be? Because we work with many different lenders we can offer more mortgage products and programs than a typical mortgage company, bank or credit union. This allows us to be very competitive with these lending institutions and our interest rates are almost always lower. We do not put interest rates on our website because rates change daily and many factors determine what your interest rate will be: loan amount, credit scores, loan type, etc. We offer lower closing fees because we do not spend huge amounts of money to advertise on TV or radio, in the newspaper, on billboards or at professional sporting events. As a result of our mortgage expertise and personal service we have built a sizeable customer base that has allowed us to have many repeat and referral customers. What is my credit score? When your application is taken by one of our loan originators a credit report will be ordered. The credit report will list your debts; mortgage loans, car loans, credit cards, etc. There are three credit agencies: Experian, Equifax and Trans Union. These agencies compile your credit information and each agency assigns a score. This score is determined by how timely you pay your bills and how much credit you have. Your score is very important when you apply for a mortgage. How long does it take to get a mortgage? Since there are many factors involved in a mortgage loan it is difficult to guarantee a specific length of time. After your application has been taken; a determination will be made of the amount you can or need to borrow, your credit report will be obtained and an appraisal will be done to determine the value of the property. Title work will also be ordered. You will also need to provide documentation such as; current pay stubs, W2’s and bank and asset statements. Depending on your situation a purchase agreement, divorce decree, bankruptcy papers, Social Security or retirement benefits, etc. may be required. Your loan originator will keep you informed of the progress of your loan and will do everything possible to close your loan in a timely manner. CALL US TODAY FOR FAST, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY SERVICE!
